The Ephesus Foundation, established under the leadership of Borusan Holding, aims at contributing to the development and international promotion of ancient city of Ephesus. The Ephesus Foundation acts with a mission of raising of funds for the preservation of the ancient city and carrying out activities for the promotion of the ancient city worldwide. The ancient city of Ephesus, one of the world's largest cultural and historical sites with its unique history that dates back to 10,000 years, attracts approximately 2 million visitors every year.

For the purposes of activities carried out in relation to the ancient city of Ephesus, Borusan has been cooperating with the Austrian Archaeological Institute for the restoration of the "Marble Hall" located at the entrance of the Terrace House 2, which is of utmost importance in historical terms. Under the protocol executed with a term of three years for the "Marble Hall" restored with the combination of about 120,000 pieces, Borusan provides a fund of Euro 300,000.
