As Borusan Group celebrates its 80th anniversary, it continues its support for culture and art with the 52nd Istanbul Music Festival, which has become a "classic Istanbul event." Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) and sponsored by Borusan Holding, the festival runs from May 21 to June 12. The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and Borusan Quartet will meet music lovers with two special concerts. The Borusan Quartet concert on June 8 at the KadıköySüreyya Opera House can also be watchedfrom Caddebostan starting at 8:00 PM, with a touch of the city's spirit.
 

The 52nd Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) and sponsored by Borusan Holding, which started on May 21, continues to meet music lovers until June 12. While celebrating its 80th anniversary, Borusan Group continues its contribution and support to the festival, which has become a "classic Istanbul event" since the first note. The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and Borusan Quartet are participating in the festival with two concerts. In this context, Borusan Holding is a major contributor as the show sponsor for the "Mozart Requiem" concert by the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra at AKM on June 2, while Borusan Sanat is supporting the "Premiere Night: Borusan Quartet & Synergy Vocals" concert at Süreyya Opera House on June 8 as a major contributing institution.
 

Mozart's Requiem, one of the most intriguing topics in music history due to its composition story and musical texture, will be performed by the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIFO), the Hungarian National Choir, and guest soloists Giuliana Gianfaldoni, Cecilia Molinari, İlkerArcayürek, and Jongmin Park. The concert, with Borusan Holding as the major contributing show sponsor, will feature the Hungarian National Choir, which shares the stage with BIFO under the direction of Carlo Tenan, participating in the festival to mark the 100th anniversary of the Turkish-Hungarian Friendship Agreement with its impressive 84-member ensemble.
 

Borusan Quartet extends from Süreyya Opera House to Caddebostan
 

Borusan also creates a musical feast that will resonate with the city's spirit. The Premiere Night:Borusan Quartet & SynergyVocals concert at Kadıköy Süreyya Opera House on June 8 will be broadcast live, and art enthusiasts can watch it for free from Caddebostan starting at 8:00 PM. This beachfront gathering offers an unforgettable opportunity to be enchanted by music with a unique concert experience. This exceptional concert will also be broadcast to listeners through a joint broadcast on Borusan Klasik and Joy FM radio stations.
 

Under the direction of one of Turkey's notable female conductors, SibilArsenyan, the Borusan Quartet and Synergy Vocals will come together with music lovers for a premiere night at the Süreyya Opera House. American composer Steve Reich's new work, "Jacob’s Ladder," will be presented for the first time to Turkish audiences at this festival. Alongside Synergy Vocals, which will also be part of the world premiere and subsequent European tour of the work, the Borusan Quartet and members of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra will take the stage. Glass and Mozart's string quartets will be performed.
