Borusan EnBW Enerji

Borusan EnBW Enerji was established in 2009 as a joint venture between Borusan Holding and EnBW AG. Borusan EnBW Enerji operates in the fields of renewable energy generation and sales, and renewable energy solutions in order to directly support the green transformation. Its generation portfolio consists of 100% renewable energy sources.

Borusan EnBW Enerji's first plant, Bandırma WPP, was commissioned in 2009 with a generation capacity of 45 MW. Finally, with the commissioning of the Saros WPP at full capacity in 2022, the number of energy facilities reached 12. Total installed capacity increased to 725 MW. Including hybrid facilities and renewable energy facilities with storage, it will have a portfolio of approximately 1,352 MW.

Generating over 2 TWh of energy annually with its renewable energy facilities, Borusan EnBW Enerji prevents approximately 1.4 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually. With its new business model, the Electric Vehicle Charging Network, Borusan EnBW Enerji also aims to create a critical infrastructure for the electrification of the transportation sector in the fight against the climate crisis.
