Borusan Group strengthens leadership development through rotation

Borusan Group has made new appointments within its human resources organization, in line with a rotation approach that offers employees development opportunities across various companies and areas of responsibility. As part of these initiatives which support intra-group talent mobility and leadership development, İrem Erdoğan, Özde Hamarat, and Tahir Vayısoğlu have been appointed to their new roles.

The Borusan Group has implemented significant role changes within its human resources organization as part of a rotation approach designed to support leadership development and strengthen the sharing of experience across group companies. These new appointments, effective August 1, 2026, aim to transfer the group's accumulated knowledge to different companies, enhance leadership competencies, and strengthen the future leadership pipeline.

In line with this, three key leadership appointments have been made within the human resources organization. İrem Erdoğan, who has held significant responsibilities across various human resources roles within the Borusan Group, will serve as the Executive Board Member for Global People and Sustainability at Borusan Boru, effective August 1, 2026. In her new role, Erdoğan will lead the integrated management of the people and sustainability agendas.

Özde Hamarat, who previously served as the Director of the Human Resources Center of Expertise at Borusan Holding, has been appointed as the Executive Board Member responsible for Human Resources and Development at Borusan Cat. In her new role, Hamarat will lead Borusan Cat’s human resources strategies, organizational development initiatives, and talent management processes.

With Özde Hamarat’s move to Borusan Cat, Tahir Vayısoğlu will assume the role of Director of the Human Resources Center of Expertise at Borusan Holding. The aim is for Vayısoğlu to contribute to the operations of the Human Resources Center of Expertise by bringing the experience and expertise he has gained in various roles to this new position.

The Borusan Group views job rotation not merely as a change of assignment, but as a strategic talent management tool that enables employees to gain experience in diverse business areas, supports leadership development, and contributes to the organization's long-term success. These transitions between Group companies aim to strengthen the sharing of knowledge and experience, enhance organizational agility, and support sustainable growth.
