Borusan Group Celebrates Its 80th Anniversary with Thousands of Employees

Borusan Group celebrated its 80th anniversary with great enthusiasm alongside its employees. The event, held at the Haliç Congress Center with the participation of thousands of Borusan staff, featured Borusan combining its 80 years of experience with its mission of becoming a 200-year-old Group, under the theme "We’veActuallyJustBegun."
 

Founded in 1944 with İstikbalTicaret, Borusan Group came together with its employees on April 30 for a full-day event at Haliç Congress Center as part of its 80th anniversary celebrations. Approximately 2,500 people attended the event in person, and it was broadcast live to 14,500 viewers. The event was moderated by the famous comedian and host KaanSekban.
 

During the event, which concluded with a closing speech by Borusan Holding Chairman Ahmet Kocabıyık, a 20-minute performance featuring 750 drones took place. In a first for Turkey, the portrait of the late AsımKocabıyık, Founder and Honorary Chairman of Borusan Group, was displayed in the sky using drones. The Borusan Day event, marked by the message "We’ve Actually Just Begun" concluded with a concert by Kenan Doğulu. Borusan, which celebrated its 80th anniversary in a comprehensive manner, will continue to implement various projects throughout the year.
