Borusan EnBW Enerji Steps into Turkish Electric Vehicle Charging Network Operating Sector



The joint venture company of Borusan Holding and German EnBW AG, Borusan EnBW Enerji continues to invest in new business models across the energy sector. As one of the leading wind energy generation companies, Borusan EnBW Enerji has been granted a license by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye (EMRA) for its Electric Vehicle Charging Network Operating activities.

As the joint venture company of Borusan Holding and German energy giant EnBW AG, Borusan EnBW Enerji has received its Electric Vehicle Charging Network Operating license from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye (EMRA), as stipulated by the “Charging Services Regulation”. Driven by the strength it gets from its shareholders and its own expertise, Borusan EnBW Enerji aims to provide the best experience for its customers in the Electric Vehicle Charging Services sector in Türkiye. With a view to reflect its engineering expertise built in the course of creating its 100% renewable energy portfolio to the electric vehicle customers, through its fast-charging stations, Borusan EnBW Enerji aims is to offer a flawless charging experience for its customers which is clean, fast, state of art and user friendly.

Planning to also build on the know-how and expertise of its main shareholder EnBW AG - the market leader in fast- charging network sector in Germany, Borusan EnBW Enerji has its eye on the highest point in the Turkish market, aiming to offer the best service quality.

Borusan EnBW Enerji envisions providing fast charging services for electric vehicles in more than 500 charging points initially, and then raising that figure to 7000 through further investments in this area.

The extensive charging network composed of stations that would complete an 80% charge in under 30 minutes will be supported by a mobile device application that offers an easy booking feature and other value-added solutions for its customers.
