Borusan Alpha Internship Program Prepares Young Talents for the Future

The Borusan Alpha Internship Program, which offers long-term internship opportunities for 3rd- and 4th-year university students as well as graduate students, once again opens its doors to young talents this year. By integrating digital and innovative tools such as an AI-based personality inventory and video interview avatar, the program ensures an equal, transparent, and efficient process—preparing young talents and future leaders for their career journeys in the best possible way.

Borusan Holding continues to guide young people in their career paths through the Borusan Alpha Internship Program, designed to attract young talents who will support the company’s vision and cultivate future leaders.

This year, 76 Alpha interns joined the Borusan Group as of July. During the program, students work two or three days a week while continuing their academic studies.

AI Tools Create a Unique and Efficient Candidate Experience

Updated annually based on emerging trends and workforce needs, the program has reshaped its competency framework to reflect the growing role of artificial intelligence in business processes—particularly in human resources, where it transforms the candidate and employer experience.

Through the AI-based personality inventory tool, detailed analyses of competencies are conducted, enabling a more effective evaluation of high-potential young talents.

During the selection process, candidates complete several stages: a personality inventory, an English proficiency test, a video interview, and both HR and managerial interviews.
In the video interview stage, candidates interact with an intelligent assistant avatar, ensuring a fair and transparent environment. Thanks to AI-powered analytics, Borusan performs quick, detailed, and efficient evaluations at every step.

Real Work Experience and Long-Term Career Opportunities

The Borusan Alpha Internship Program provides real business experience across a wide range of departments within Borusan Holding and Group companies—including technology, strategy, business development, finance, human resources, production, sales, and marketing.

From the very first day, Alpha interns and young talents work alongside experienced Borusan professionals, gaining hands-on knowledge and actively contributing to projects—allowing them to experience the dynamics of business life firsthand.

Throughout the program, participants benefit from the Borusan Academy’s comprehensive development schedule, which includes online and in-person trainings, expert seminars, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.

Those who successfully complete the internship are re-evaluated for the next stage of the Borusan Alpha Young Talent Program. Thanks to the complementary structure of these two programs, young professionals have the opportunity to continue their career journeys seamlessly under the Borusan umbrella after their internship experience.

Launched in 1991, the Alpha Young Talent Program has been internationally recognized, receiving a global award from The Peer Awards for Excellence for its success in talent development.

In 2024, 107 Alpha interns participated in the program, with 28 young talents going on to join Borusan full-time after graduation. The program achieved a 96% retention rate, while the retention rate among female Alpha talents reached 100%.
