2020 Annual Report
We are a strong and deep-rooted family that delivered our best efforts to maintain business and attained exemplary achievements in and outside Turkey by uniting with employees and stakeholders during the challenging times marked by the pandemic.
We established the Borusan Group Crisis Committee and have consistently communicated with our employees since the first day of the pandemic. Through the online programs of Borusan Academy, we provided our colleagues with the support they needed to develop while working remotely. At Borusan Sports Club, we encourage people to move, offer digital coffee breaks for socializing, and support them with nutritionists and psychologists online. We continue adding value to a healthy life through our diverse digital projects, mobile apps, and disinfectant booths.
For the sustainability of our business, we disinfect all working spaces with the utmost care, while strictly observing pandemic-related rules and guidelines. We keep our physical working spaces risk-free, while developing strategic projects for the future of the working life and our business. Our employees can attend and express their opinions at Senior Management meetings. We gather on live broadcasts through digital channels and share our experiences with colleagues even in the farthest locations.
We steadfastly fulfill our responsibility to our stakeholders to guarantee the sustainability of our business. Aware of our social responsibilities, we work contribute to the healthcare sector. We care about equal opportunities in education; we have collaborations in place and we implement specific projects to guarantee equal access to education, an area that has gained importance after the adoption of remote education. We visit homes through Borusan Sanat and Borusan Contemporary, ensuring that the arts remain present during the pandemic. Thanks to our leaders who met with youth, we light the way for the future.
